Terms & Conditions — JadooBooks

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using JadooBooks ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

JadooBooks is a data entry automation platform that processes financial documents (invoices, bank statements, payroll files) and facilitates posting to accounting software such as Tally and Zoho Books. JadooBooks is a data processor — it does not provide accounting, tax, or financial advisory services.

3. Data Ownership

You own your data. JadooBooks acts solely as a data processor on your behalf. We do not claim any ownership over the financial documents, extracted data, or records you create using the Service.

4. AI Disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence to extract and classify information from financial documents. AI output is provided as an aid to human review and must be verified by a qualified accounting professional before being posted to any ledger. JadooBooks is not liable for errors arising from unreviewed AI extractions.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, and GST regulations. You must not use the Service to process fraudulent, forged, or illegal documents.

6. Pricing & Billing

Pricing is as published on the Pricing page. Plans are billed per company managed. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Annual plans are non-refundable.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

On cancellation, your data remains accessible for 30 days. After that period, data is permanently deleted unless you request earlier deletion. You may request a data export at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability

JadooBooks is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including errors in AI extraction or posting failures. Our maximum liability is limited to the fees paid in the prior 3 months.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
